Binder Organization for Your Superhero Speech Therapy Room

Knowing how important storage is for SLPs we have provided you with a stylish solution to keep your resources organized and easy to access. Add a real splash of color to your shelves with 16 cover designs and matching spines to choose from.

Labels for Your Superhero Speech Therapy Room

Coordinating label types are also included – multi-purpose, circular, and Avery labels. Thirty pages of printable labels in different colors and designs are going to add color and fun to your superhero speech therapy room.

We love the versatility of the circular labels – you can cut them out and get as creative as you like with them. To add even more effect, I will run you through the simple process of attaching them to magazine files using ribbon.

Gather your materials:

• Magazine files
• Circular labels
• Ribbon
• Hole punch
• Scissors

Then follow these super-simple steps:

1. Construct your magazine file as per instructions.
2. Punch a hole in the top and bottom of your label.
3. Cut your ribbon to about 35" long and thread it through the circular label – keeping the ribbon to the back of the label as shown.
4. Wrap the ribbon through the hole of the magazine file and around the top half of the file. Tie into a knot as neatly as possible (I'm sure you can do a lot neater than me!!)
5. Trim the edge off your ribbon to give a neat finish.

Magazine files are often hidden under the desk due to their dull appearance. Using an idea like this, you can give them a deserved place on any shelf in your superhero speech therapy room!

Superhero Speech Therapy Rules and Behavior Charts

Keeping students on task can be a bit tricky sometimes. This editable ‘Speech therapy Rules’ chart and superhero behavior chart can be constructed using ring clips and ribbon as we have done, but I'm sure that all you creative SLPs will come up with your own great ideas too!

We have used colored pegs on ours for illustration, but you could write students' names on pegs or clips and attach them to the chart. Every bit helps to keep your little superheroes motivated and focused on 'out of this world' behavior during superhero speech therapy sessions!

Using downloadable fonts can really add ‘wow’ factor to your printed decor – as we found out while designing editable elements to our latest packs – this lovely Superhero Speech Therapy Decor Collection and the latest Owl Speech Therapy Themed Decor Sets.

Today, we are going to share how easy it is to download and use some of these fonts. The best thing is that many of them are free for personal use!

They are just so easy to use!  Here’s how:

• Log into your account on the TeachersPayTeachers website.  
• Visit our store, Teaching Talking, and find our fonts pack.  There are lots of products in our store so feel free to browse!
• Download and open the fonts – it will look like this once opened:

• Double-click on a font – I chose "TeachingHeaderRounded".  When opened, it will look like this:

• Click the ‘install’ button.  In an instant the font will be installed on your computer.
• Open the program you intend to use the font in eg. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint,  or Photoshop etc.  The TeachingHeaderRounded font should now appear in your fonts menu like this:

Real Life Superhero Speech Therapy Room

When we create, we do it with the hope that others will enjoy it. Whether it's baking a cake, crafting a birthday card, or painting a picture. We always hope that it will be useful to and appreciated by those who receive it. It's just the same for us Teacher Authors: when we design a new product, it gives us great joy when we see people using it in their own spaces.

Today, we are delighted to share with you some photos of a great superhero speech room created with our Superhero Décor Pack – this superhero speech therapy room has been expertly created by Busy Miss B.

She has used our door sign, speech banner and superhero characters along with her own artistic creativity to make up this great door art – what a way to welcome all those little 'superheroes' to the superhero speech therapy room!

Her bulletin board features our speech banner too, reinforcing the superhero speech therapy theme:

The paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling tie in wonderfully with the superhero colors. The gray/black/cream color scheme for her room works really well too, creating a perfect backdrop for superhero speech therapy activities!

In her organization, Busy Miss B has used the labels from our Superhero Décor Pack to enhance her materials:

They look great with the yellow ribbon and black and white folders and crates! This organization system not only looks fantastic but also helps in quickly locating materials during speech therapy sessions.
